    • Wrost version ever

Upgrading to Version 10 (Container based) has been the most disappointing major update I’ve experienced in over 25 years. This version has significantly regressed Zerto’s stability and reliability, setting it back by a decade. After using Zerto since Version 5, we have now reached a point where we can no longer trust the product.

    • MSCS shared fail over disk protection

Hello, I have an MSCS with a shared disk,  configured on a VMWare VVOL using Pure as our backend storage. (similar to the way RDM was used to create shared disks).  Will Zerto protect my cluster?  I was told the RDM method of cluster shared disk was not supported. Thanks, Rob Bell

    • Many to One Replication

Hi Is it possible to do a Many-to-One replication with Zerto? I’m pretty sure it’s possible, but there does not appear to be much in the way of documentation or reference architecture. It would be much appreciated if anyone cone point me in the right direction.   Thanks in advance, DJ

    • copy BIOS UUID

Does the “or incoming replication, copy the BIOS UUID of the protected VM to the recovered VM” setting work with existing VPGs, or only for new VPGs created after the setting was put in place?  Does it work for test failovers, or just live failovers?

    • Getting protected VMs cpu and ram

Hello, Is there a way to retrieve the total number of Vcpus and of Ram of all the VMs replicated by Zerto? I didn’t find this in the ZVM or analytics. I only see the storage info. Thanks.

    • Full delta sync after long outage?

Hi, What’s happening after a long outage (say 48 hours)? Let’s say that I failover to my recovery site and during 48 hours, there’s no communication between the two sites. Then my production site comes back up and I want to “move” back to it. Does Zerto keeps track of modified blocks on the recovery […]

    • Assistance Required for ZVMA 10.0U2 to 10.0U3 Offl

Dear Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am currently facing a challenge while attempting an offline upgrade of ZVMA from version 10.0U2 to 10.0U3. Despite being on the same subnet, the upload process stalls at 0% and eventually fails with a network error message. This issue persists across multiple browsers, namely Chrome […]

    • Zerto VRAH behavior during live failover

I recently conducted a Live Failover for a customer with reverse replication enabled. This customer did not want to use production VMs, so we temporarily added VMs to Zerto in order to go through live failover process. These VMs were failed over with reverse protection enabled. A week later we failed the VMs back to […]

    • VCenter Distributed Switch Upgrade

We would like to upgrade our VCenter Distributed Switches from 6.6.6 to 7.0.3 where all our ESXi hosts are on ESX 7.0. Is it a problem for Zerto replication if we only upgraded the recovery site VCenter switches first before the protected site ? So we may leave both sites on different version for a […]

When I log into vCenter and look at the task pane it is always filled with Force Sync (Protected Site)/Recovery Site messages.  It doesn’t seem to affect anything that I can see, but it makes it a pain to see recent tasks that have run or are currently running?  Anyone else run into this and […]

    • Multiple IPs on one NIC

Hi, we have a few app servers with one vNIC configured on the respective VMs but multiple IPs bound to the NIC and used by different apps via IIS. In looking at the documentation there’s not much references to how to config failover IPs for this situation aside from a note that might mean it’s […]
