The award-winning Zerto Alliance Partner (ZAP) program has played a vital role empowering our partners around the globe to grow and expand their Zerto business. The ZAP ecosystem supports revenue growth by offering sales and technical enablement, marketing materials and marketing development funds (MDF) to create joint leads.

We’re proud to collaborate with some of the most innovative and advanced organizations in the world to deliver on our customers’ data protection requirements. This year has been record-breaking and we’d like to recognize the achievements of a number of our partners, each of whom have made a huge contribution to our shared success over the past 12 months.

These achievements have led to continued sales and growth, allowing multiple partner graduations. Partners graduate within ZAP based on revenue growth, certifications, and marketing engagement. For instance, achieving Platinum status in the ZAP program places partners in the highest available tier. Joining this exclusive group is a reseller organization that has delivered outstanding levels of sales and customer-centric performance in the last 12 months:

In a remarkable nine months, Cumberland Group has grown 236% over  the previous year and graduates from Gold to Platinum ZAP tier.

Commenting on the news, Rob Wentz, SVP, business development at Cumberland said: “Cumberland and Zerto have been working together to satisfy our customers’ disaster recovery needs for years. With the increased threat of ransomware attacks and the need for businesses to remain on line 24/7, our clients need Zerto now more than ever. Cumberland is proud to be named a Zerto platinum partner. Together we are well equipped to help our clients meet their most critical disaster recovery needs.”

Among our Managed Service Provider partners, Sungard Availability Services (Sungard AS) and Zerto have been working closely together to promote the Sungard AS DRaaS solutions. This joint effort has resulted in continued growth for Sungard AS, and today, they have joined a select group of Gold MSPs.

“The rapid adoption of Sungard AS Cloud Recovery – Virtual Servers by our customers and the recovery success rate we experienced confirms that we have the right technology, partnership and processes in place to deliver consistent results to our stakeholders,” said Girish Dadge, senior director, cloud recovery data protection product management at Sungard AS. “We are pleased that this growth has resulted in being named a Zerto Gold Partner.”

The good news doesn’t end there. A number of individual Zerto partners have graduated from Associate to Silver status. Our congratulations go to:

  • Ativy
  • Connectria
  • Ek.co
  • Ongoing Operations
  • Prodec Networks
  • IRIDEOS
  • TeraGo
  • Tonaquint

These impressive graduations come on the heels of an overall successful year for the ZAP Program. Not only did Zerto revamp the ZAP Program in March of this year—creating a clear pathway for these organizations and leaders to ascend the program levels—but it also won several company and individual awards from CRN, the top channel publication in the U.S..

In February, Zerto was named one of CRN’s Coolest Cloud Companies for 2021, based on its demonstrated commitment to working with channel partners and innovation in product and service development. Then in March, Zerto was chosen for the 2021 CRN Partner Program Guide because of the quality and strength of the ZAP Program. Finally in May, CRN named Zerto’s Pamela Sharma, senior manager of worldwide partner marketing, as one of its 2021 Women of the Channel, acknowledging Sharma’s achievements and contributions to Zerto’s channel program.

With 2022 on the horizon, Zerto looks forward to seeing even more success for its ZAP Program and all the partners involved in it.
