Congratulations to the Providers Recognized in Gartner’s DRaaS Magic Quadrant
Last week, Gartner released its 2018 Magic Quadrant for Disaster Recovery as a Service, research that we feel represents the benchmark for customers looking for a DRaaS provider. Each year, Gartner evaluates each vendor in its Magic Quadrants who wait with baited breath to see where they’re positioned. We believe the holy grail is to be recognized as a leader, but being categorized as a niche provider, a challenger, or a visionary is an achievement as well, as competition and selection criteria are intense.
Following the launch of the results, Zerto would like to congratulate nine of our partners on being recognized in the 2018 DRaaS Magic Quadrant! At Zerto, we are proud that our technology has helped Microsoft, iland, TierPoint, IBM, Sungard AS, Bluelock, Expedient, CloudHPT and Recovery Point shape their DRaaS offerings.
Background on DRaaS
DRaaS uses cloud providers’ computers, networking and storage to act as the target site for replication and recovery of a company’s critical data and applications. By moving DR to the cloud, customers are able to bring huge costs down and save on resources, and ensure higher performance and reliability by the cloud provider.
Zerto and the DRaaS Magic Quadrant
One major driver for customer adoption of DRaaS is speed to cloud. DRaaS empowers them to ‘test the water’ of the cloud, without giving up control over production applications in their data centers. Zerto enables cloud service providers to unleash the DRaaS opportunity with its hypervisor-based replication technology – the first to be built from the ground up as a simple, yet powerful disaster recovery platform for virtualized infrastructures by including all of the replication, recovery orchestration and automation in one easy-to-use software platform.
As a company that is 100% driven by channel sales, our partners’ success is very important to us. In such a competitive year, with few organizations making the grade, having 9 out of 10 providers working with Zerto is incredible. More than this, both leaders in the Quadrant – Microsoft and iland – use Zerto technology to power their DRaaS offerings.
We are honored to be able to work with all of our partners and are particularly proud of the strides these 9 organizations have taken to be recognized in such high regard.
