Same Continuous Data Protection Engine

The same cutting-edge continuous data protection (CDP) technology as in the Zerto standalone solution, is available. Journal-based recovery in Zerto allows MSPs to achieve recovery point objectives (RPOs) of mere seconds and recovery time objectives (RTOs) of just minutes.

This capability ensures near-instant application recovery, which is crucial for minimizing downtime and data loss during disruptions. With Zerto CDP, MSPs can provide their clients with unparalleled data protection and operational resilience.

Supporting Multiple Use Cases

Our versatile platform supports a wide range of use cases, making it an invaluable asset for MSPs:

  • DRaaS: Zerto's robust disaster recovery solutions ensure business continuity by enabling rapid recovery from any type of disruption, from natural disasters to system failures.
  • Cyber resilience: Zerto CDP allows MSPs to recover data from seconds before a ransomware attack, ensuring minimal data loss and swift restoration to a clean state. An immutable journal provides an additional layer of security, safeguarding against data tampering.
  • Multi-cloud mobility: Zerto is a cloud-agnostic solution that supports seamless mobility across multiple cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. This flexibility allows MSPs to offer tailored DRaaS solutions that meet the diverse needs of their clients, whether they operate on-premises, in the cloud, or within hybrid environments.

Native Multi-Tenancy

The native multi-tenancy capability in Zerto is designed to simplify the management of multiple clients for MSPs. This feature allows MSPs to:

  • Isolate and secure client environments: Each client environment is logically separated, ensuring data privacy and security across different tenants.
  • Centralize management: Manage multiple clients from a single interface, streamlining operations and reducing administrative overhead.

Seamless Integration with VMware Cloud Director

Zerto supports VMware Cloud Director, enabling MSPs to efficiently manage and deliver DRaaS within virtualized environments. The integration allows for smooth orchestration of disaster recovery workflows.

Additionally, Zerto offers a plug-in for VMware Cloud Director, facilitating self-service usage for clients. This capability empowers clients to manage their own disaster recovery processes, enhancing customer satisfaction and reducing the operational burden on MSPs.

Advanced Analytics and Reporting

Insight and transparency are critical to maintaining trust and delivering value. Zerto equips MSPs with advanced analytics and reporting tools that provide deep insights into disaster recovery environments.

Our tools enable real-time monitoring, comprehensive reporting, and compliance with regulatory standards. These capabilities enhance the transparency and reliability of your services, reinforcing client confidence and satisfaction.

Other Key Benefits of Zerto for MSPs

Choosing Zerto to power your DRaaS, cyber resilience and mobility offerings comes with the many benefits listed above.  But MSPs get even more when choosing Zerto to elevate their offering.

Hardware agnostic

Zerto manages recovery of virtual machines and virtual disks in the hypervisor layer. It doesn't matter what hardware is used in either the protected or recovery site—it can be from the same vendor or different vendors.

Fully scalable

To increase the number of hosts, simply define a new virtual replication appliance (VRA)on each new host. There's no need to install additional software to handle additional hosts or virtual machines—and no need for additional hardware

Self-service portal

The Zerto Self-service Portal (ZSSP) is an out-of-the-box disaster recovery solution with a fully functioning browser-based service portal. ZSSP enables MSPs to quickly introduce disaster recovery using Zerto. It can be integrated with an MSP's portal or used as a standalone portal.

Support for several DR models

Use Zerto Cloud Manager for DRaaS—replication from a customer organization to the the MSP site— or for In-Cloud DR (ICDR)—customer organization production is hosted by the MSP which offers DR to another site. Or simply use Zerto to manage multiple DR sites from a single interface.

Proven track record

Zerto’s reliability is backed by a proven track record, validated by thousands of organizations globally. Over 350 MSPs worldwide already use Zerto to power their DRaaS offerings, attesting to the trust and confidence the industry has in our technology.

  • Zerto Cloud Connector (ZCC): a small Linux appliance set for each tenant site. It secures data flows and masks the provider's infrastructure from tenants.
  • Zerto Self-Service Portal (ZSSP): an out-of-the-box portal solution that can be integrated with an MSP's portal or used as a standalone portal. It enables self-service features to end customers. APIs are available for automation purposes for tenants.
