Zerto Selected as a 2018 Product of the Year by Storage Magazine

Zerto IT Resilience Platform 6.0 is a Silver Winner in the Backup and Disaster Recovery Software Category

Standing out amongst more than 100 initial entries and 12 finalists, Zerto has received Storage Magazine and SearchStorage’s 2018 Product of the Year Silver award in the Backup and Disaster Recovery Software category.

According to one award judge, “the platform exceeds almost every other product I evaluated across all categories of products considered for Products of the Year,” while another stated, “few data protection products [offer recovery point objectives] and [recovery time objectives] as low as Zerto.”

This year’s awards were judged by the Storage Magazine and SearchStorage editorial staff, in conjunction with industry experts, analysts and consultants. Winners were selected according to the following criteria; innovation, performance, ease of integration into existing environments, ease of use and manageability, functionality and value.

Coming out ahead of eleven other finalists, including IBM, Acronis, Quest, Rubrik, Scale and Veeam, Zerto was also praised by judges for having “strong multi-cloud support and quick journal-based recovery.”

“We believe so strongly in our product, and how it benefits our customers, but it’s always nice to see that passion validated by distinguished awards programs such as these,” said Ziv Kedem, CEO, Zerto. “We were up against some of the biggest names in the technology industry, and the fact that we came out as a silver winner proves that our platform is truly providing the IT resilience that organizations need in today’s cloud-based, risk-focused environment.”

In 2018, Zerto announced both version 6.5 and the advancements that will be included in version 7.0 of the IT Resilience Platform, which is due for GA in the coming months. Both of these versions build upon the foundation of continuous data protection to provide organizations with backup capabilities built for today’s businesses.
