CRN Names Zerto as ‘Data Protection and Management Product of the Year’ for 2022
Beating out a host of leading technology industry names, including Rubrik, Veeam and Veritas, Zerto 9.5 has been named by CRN as Data Protection and Management Product of the Year in its annual Tech Innovator Awards.
As the highest-scoring overall winner, Zerto 9.5 brings its ransomware recovery capabilities to the leading cloud providers, enabling organizations to recover in minutes at scale to seconds before an attack.
Announced in April as a major product update, Zerto 9.5 offers expanded immutability options with Azure and S3-compatible storage, a new Zerto Linux appliance with security enhancements, and expanded integrations with Google Cloud Platform.

In addition to this most recent accolade, 2022 also saw Zerto recognized by Forrester, a leading global research and advisory firm, as a Contender among Data Resilience Solution Suites. In its 40-criterion evaluation of data resilience solution suite providers, Forrester identified, researched, analyzed, and scored the nine most significant vendors’ solutions. Naming Zerto a Contender, the report says its “addition of one-to-many Kubernetes replication and its partnership with Keepit, a Leader in The Forrester New Wave™: SaaS Application Data Protection, Q4 2021, bring capabilities to the enterprise that other vendors can’t claim.”
Earlier this year, Pamela Sharma, Zerto senior manager, WW partner marketing, was named on CRN’s Women of the Channel list for 2022. This esteemed list honors the incredible accomplishments of female leaders in the IT channel. Those named on this annual list come from all corners of the IT channel — including vendors, distributors, and solution providers whose vision, expertise, and contributions make an impact on the industry every day.
Zerto was also recognized by TrustRadius with two awards for Best Feature Set and Best Relationship in the Disaster Recovery category. The awards highlight companies with outstanding feature sets that have gone above and beyond to delight their users.
And kicking off 2022, Eric Barnhart, Zerto senior director, cloud and channel sales, was named on the coveted CRN Channel Chiefs list, which identifies top IT channel vendor executives who continually demonstrate expertise, influence, and innovation in channel leadership.
