VMware to Hyper-V MOVE leaves VM in a non HA state

  • Hi,

When we MOVE VM’s using Zerto 6.5U1 onto Hyper-V the resulting VM’s are left in a state that precludes them from HA live migration internally on the Cluster. The reason for this seems to be that “Expected utilization” during Live Migration is set to someĀ  weird values. When we restore the “Expected Utilization” to default the Live Migration can proceed as normal.

The Expected Utilization is set to CPU 277% ?!?!

After reset to default this is set to 20% and we are able to proceed with LM

    Please advise!

    Regards, Ulrik

    Hello Ulrik,

From your description we may need to have Zerto and Microsoft support work together to understand where this issue is coming from as it is not a problem we have encountered previously. Can you please open a Zerto support case so we can assist you?

    Regards,

    Bob
