Zerto replication – Preseed

    I was wondering if there is a way to pre-seed VPGs. We have 28 VMs which is about 10TB or data that we will have trouble performing initial synch. I was hoping we can copy the VMs to portable media and then mail the drive to the recovery site.

    Yes – Zerto allows you to pre-seed. Simply get the .VMDK files in the desired location, then create your VPG and choose the pre-seed option for each disk.
