Is Zerto compatible with Actifio?

Hello,

Actifio’s backup program is attaching and detaching disks to VMs causing the VPGs to go into a “needs configuration” state.

Once the disks are detached, the journal will delete itself,  and the VPG will start sync.

There are two workarounds.

– One is to pause the VPGs while the backup program runs which you can script out.

-The second is to make Actifio connect with ISCSI through the OS so Zerto does not see them.
