IP/vlan change – ZVM and VRAs

Hello,
Mike from Zerto here. On the VRAs, you can change the VLAN on the VRA VM, and edit the VRA to change the IP information:
For the ZVM, you have two options:
FYI, for the VRA re-ip exercise, this process didn’t work for us. All of our VRAs were on DHCP (like 99% of our datacenter). Zerto seems to have a bug which prevents proper ZVM-VRA communication when changing vlans and issuing a new DHCP address. We were forced to reconfigure all VRAs to use static addresses. Why does the option for DHCP exist when it doesn’t work reliably?
The DHCP option is there for test environments and is not recommended for use in production environments, because if DHCP changes the IP address of the VRA VM, that causes the VRA to be disconnected from the ZVM.
