ZVR Upgrade During Initial Sync

Can a ZVM be upgraded from 7.0 to 7.5 while performing an initial sync or do I need to wait for it to complete? Question applies to vmware to vmware and vmware to Azure ZCA. Thank you.

Please wait for the initial sync to end as the upgrade restarts the zerto services.
