AWS to AWS Replication

Is there a configuration where it is possible to replicate using Zerto from AWS site to AWS Site? I tried to pair two ZCAs and it yelled at me. I believe I’m on 7.5p1

Hello,

My name is Contara Tan from Zerto Support.

Port 9081 – Communication between paired ZVMs
- Make sure port TCP 9081 open bi-direction properly.
- RDP into the ZCA server(do the Telnet test on both ZCA) – Do a telnet session in CMD: Telnet ZCA IP address 9081 or Windows Power shell: test-netconnection ZCA IP address -port 9081.
- ZCA 7.5 is using the Token key to do pairing.
Page 6 about TCP ports.

I believe they can communicate but I specifically got an error that an AWS site can not pair to another AWS site. I’m assuming it is not possible/supported.

Hello Aaron E,

It’s is supported, ZCA-AWS(Production) to ZCA-AWS(Recovery). You might want to open the Support case lets us troubleshoot the pairing issue.

What is exactly the error message during the pairing?

I do apologize but the last post is incorrect. Currently, AWS to AWS replication is NOT supported.
