LTR Retention

    We currently have a VPG set to retain 9 weekly fulls.  If I reduce it to 4 when will the oldest full backups be removed?

    Hello Shane,

    Contara from Zerto Support.

    The Garbage collector is the mechanism that goes over the repositories backups and checks their expiration, meaning how long the LTR was set for and removes them accordingly.

    Is there a way to manually delete the files?
    [Contara]  At this moment, there is no option to manually delete the LRT backup files.  Maybe the next release on Zerto 8.5 version, might have an option to delete backup LRT files manually.

    is there now a manual way to kick of the garbage collection cleanup which runs at 0030 daily.
