Hello
I have a question about Zerto specification.
Is it possible to use vsphere replication in the following order?
I know that it is unable to protect VMs that using vsphere replication at the same time with Zerto.
1. Protect a VM with a VPG of Zerto.
2. Finalize initial sync of the Zerto.
3 Pause the VPG.
4. And configure vsphere replication to the VM. <- Is this possible?
Hi ,
ive never tested this before but i would assume that it is not supported so could potentially run into some issue
what would be the use case for replicating the VM with 2 different tools ?

Thanks for your response.

The customer are using vSphere replication on production environment. They demand a continious replication until change-over from vSphere replication to Zerto.
Best regards,
Hi
if vmdk’s exist on the replicated site you could always use those to pre-seed zerto with this would minimize the time taken to swap between technologies
but as far as i am aware it is not possible to use both at the same time
