Zerto Installation Issue on Win 2012 server

    Hi all,

    I wanted to test Zerto replication and getting the following error when doing the installation on a Win 2012 server VM.

    “Please contact Zerto Support. (Package : Zerto Virtual Relication Error : Service ‘Zerto EmbeddedDB Manager’ (ZertoEmbeddedDB) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.)”

    Anyone experience such error and any idea how to solve it. Please note I more a Linux person and did not found any linux installer for Zerto.

    Hello Lindsey,

     

    The message you are receiving is indicating that the Zerto DB service (windows service) is failing to start. Please verify that you are using an account with sufficient permissions to run the service. Most use the local system account. I hope this is helpful.
