We use a third party software product called Turbonomic. The software is reporting files that need to be “deleted” but being cautious and asking here first. Can “flatTemp.vmdk” files be deleted safely? There is one file for every VRA and each is 512mb in size. Is anyone familiar or have you seen this before?
The flat temp volume of each VRA holds the Zerto binaries that run on the VRA VM and therefore should not be deleted.
Generally speaking, it is best to avoid changing or deleting any Zerto components that assume an active role in ongoing replication.
Thank you and have a nice day
