Zerto (ZVM) behaviour in real DR scenario
Hello Support, I just wanted know how Zerto will respond in a actual DR scenario where all communication and services are down at the production site so this will mean the production ZVM will be down and unavailable also. Will you still be able to initiate failover from the DR ZVM? And if so what […]

Zerto replication to Azure VMDK size limit
Hi, We have a customer with a reasonably large VM which has one vmdk disk that is 2,134,760,448 KB in size (ie just over 2TB). Is this size of vmdk supported as part of a VM replication to Azure? Is there a limit on source VMDK size when replicating from VMware Zerto to Azure Zerto […]

The needed of ZVM with a single vCenter server
We have a unique environment in that we have a single vCenter server but two disparate locations. When we initially installed Zerto, we installed a ZVM in each location. However, I noticed the other day that one of the two VMs was powered down. Do we really need two ZVMs with a single vCenter server?

Our concern is will the replication reverse, i.e. Tokyo replicate to Singapore? Any additional task or configuration is needed […]

Size of single Disk
Back when we first started with Zerto, there was a size restriction for single disks for replication. Does that still apply? What is the restriction?

The replication between sites was broken. The source disk size was increased. When attempting to recreate a new pairing I would like to use the disk at the target site to preseed; However, the size does not match the source. Can I attache the disk to a VM, increase the size to match the source […]

question: Remote site to remote site replication
I am being asked by mgmt to see if Zerto can replicate servers from a remote office to another remote office using the ZVM located in the Datacenter. My assumption is that it can not without having another ZVM deployed in one of the remote sites.

Many VPGs in Bitmap Sync
Since a few days we have the problem that many of our VPGs are in Bitmap Sync and seems to be stuck in this state. Our VRAs already have 4 vCPUs and 8 GB of Memory because of another problem we had. Some VPG States are on “VRA Communication Problem” and some are on “Network […]
