vSphere 7.0 Support
When will Zerto support vSphere 7.0? I can’t find a reference via search. Is there a published doc on this?

Pause VPG?
I have a dedicated cluster as a Zerto target at our DR site. I need to shut down all of the Hosts at once, so that I can configure EVC mode. Can I simply “pause” the VPG’s for 10 minutes, or is there a better way of doing this?

Recovery SDRS
Hello Has anyone used “Allow SDRS for Recovery VRAs” on Zerto 7.5. Is there any extra steps we need to take before enabling this checkbox in the “Site Settings (Policies)” Thanks

Zerto and vCenter snapshots
Regarding VM snapshots, I read : …”Zerto does not take VM Snapshots into account (a VMware delta VMDK file is not replicated to the DR site!). Therefore, we can go back in time thanks to the Zerto Journal, but we cannot revert to a snapshot, which is older than the Zerto Journal.”… I’m not 100% […]

Recovery Volumes Used Storage
The Resource report shows me that the Recovery Volumes Used Storage (GB) is usually a little bit smaller in size than the Source Volumes Used Storage (GB). Does someone know why? Thanks!

default recovery server
When I create a new VPG, I can select the HA cluster as the ‘default recovery server’. But since DRS is disabled and the cluster’s only function is HA, how will Zerto decide which ESXi host to use?

Migrate ZVM to a new VM
One of my ZVM’s is running on top of Server 2008. I tried to do an in-place upgrade to Serer 2012 but it failed miserably. I’m left with no choice but to build a new Server 2016 VM and swing ZVM onto that server. I know the process isn’t very clean. It basically is a […]

windows mount points?
Hello, I haven’t tested this but was curious if anyone else knows how Windows mount points are handled in replication to a recovery site. We typically build SQL servers using a small root mount point drive with VMDK mount points “hanging” off the root mount point for data/logs/tempdb. Since they are VMDK’s and not RDM’s […]

VPG to VApp dependuncy
Hello, With the new 5.5 release of Zerto, is the VPG to VApp (VCD) dependency still in effect as with earlier versions? Do we now have the capability to select VMs from different VApps and assign to the same VPG?

almost 2020 – is Orchestrator worth the ‘effort’ ?
Good day folks….are you folks who were messing with this 11/2018 still running the Orchestrator ….or just went and kicked it to the curb ? certainly this little OVA/VM/app SEEMS like it’d do that which is a ‘manual process’ and i’d LOVE the automation part but….is it just way too much of a ‘sorta unsupported […]
