how to setup zerto test netwks with vLANs
Hi group, I would like to find feedback on how others have setup zerto sandbox networks for testing with vlans. I found this on the web – https://www.jpaul.me/2016/02/creating-a-zerto-failover-test-network. Have you used this approach, or something different? Does anyone have lessons learned / suggestions on how they setup their failover network? Thanks!

ZVRA Resources
Hi group. How many CPUs is recommended for the ZVRA to be configured in the production environment if each host has an average of 20 vms, is there a formula that measures this to establish the cpu and memory resources that the ZVRA needs? Cheers

SRM and Zerto
Hi, we are implementing Vmware SRM for Local failover onsite and currently have Zerto setup to replicate offsite to a 3rd party. The question is for Vmware SRM it relies on multiple VCenter servers. Can you still use Zerto in a multiple Vcenter setup and will zerto still work if a VM fails over locally […]

VSAN 6.6 Encryption
Trying to locate an answer to the supportability of vSAN 6.6 cluster wide encryption. We are moving to Zerto for DR and also looking to implement vSAN native encryption. Based on where the encryption is occuring on the stack I would think Zerto is compatible. I dont see in the support documents where it calls […]

VCSA 7.0.3Uf
With the release of this VMSA, out security team is asking for a quick turnaround to get all vCenters and ESXi patched as recommended. I know the standard response from Zerto is “90 days” but in this case, can you please provide an expedited validation of Zerto 9.5U1 or at least confirm that HP is […]

VRA DNS
We’re updating all DNS settings in our environment. We’re currently running Zerto 7.5 and have 6 VRAs across 2 sites. Is there a way to verify the DNS settings for these VRAs and, if needed, change them?

vSAN policy
Hi folks, I am not seeing this part in the manuals, but perhaps you can help me out: I am looking into using Zerto to protect VMs in a vSAN cluster (vSAN 6.6.1 if it matters) Target for the replication will also be a vSAN cluster. How and where can I specify the SPBM/storage policy […]

Are there any plans to release a management pack for Zerto integration with vROPs? I assume that since Zerto alarms are logged into the vCenter that they can be detected via vROPs?

Compatibility with VMkernel.Boot.execInstalledOnly
Hi all, I’ve recently been trying to secure our ESX hosts to a higher level, and have been trying this with a host on site with the above advanced setting set to true. Zerto won’t install the VRA with that active, unless the host root password is fed at install. However after this is done […]
