    • VRA to VRA Encryption

For compliance reasons we are looking at enabling VRA to VRA Encryption which is available in version 8.5u4p1.  We have multiple source sites (ZVM’s) with each having from 1 to many Protected recovery sites.  One of the Protected Recovery sites will not support VRA to VRA Encryption (Policy/Mgmt directed) but would we still need them […]

    • Z-VRA-xxx_xxx- flatTemp.vmdk Files?

We use a third party software product called Turbonomic. The software is reporting files that need to be “deleted” but being cautious and asking here first. Can “flatTemp.vmdk” files be deleted safely? There is one file for every VRA and each is 512mb in size. Is anyone familiar or have you seen this before?

    • Replica disk attached during test failover

If we perform test failover and choose a checkpoint to recover the protected VM, then how does Zerto manage the original replica disk by not committing the change blocks as per the checkpoint when attached to the VM performing test failover? What I understand it that the VM is protected and replication continues during the […]

    • Issues post failover testing

We performed a DR test last week. During the test and afterwards we experienced a lot of issues that appear to be related to disk corruption (ie: corrupted files, volumes, databases, etc). We used the move option for testing as I wanted to make sure we didn’t lose any data. While moving out to our […]

    • ZVRA Storage DRS

Hi, Zerto introduced SDRS compatibility while ago. Can anyone tell me how VM Overrides should be set up against ZVRAs with Storage DRS set to run Fully Automatic and keeping VMDKs together? I see mixed settings across my storage clusters. Some VRAs have Automatic level set to fully automatic and to override keep VMKs together […]

    • Zerto Plug-in for vCenter 7/ HTML5 GUI?

Hello all, Is there a vCenter Server Plug-in that works for the vCenter HTML5 GUI? How is it installed/enabled? I’ve tried to check within documentation which reference the Web Client or Windows-based vCenter, which aren’t applicable to vCenter 7 VCSA, or possibly 6.7 either.
