Azure Site Recovery or Zerto?
The forum ‘Microsoft Azure’ is closed to new topics and replies.
Hello,
We’re in process of evaluating potential disaster recovery solutions for a future Azure implementation. I am aware that Azure Site Recovery can perform replication of Azure VMs between two Azure regions so that a failover is possible in the event that the primary Azure region goes down. I’m having trouble evaluating if this is possible with Zerto. From the documentation, I see that Zerto can handle on-premise replication to Azure just fine, but what if there is no “on-premise” (i.e. 100% of the workloads are in Azure).
Thank you.
Hi Arlo,
Zerto can achieve this but only in certain technical circumstances
feel free to reach out to me directly to discuss further

I think even when ASR can replicate between regions Zerto is more mature, better reporting, RPO so if you can affort Zerto go for it
