best practices 7.5

Just looking for best practices when it comes to updates. We have received a notification to update to 7.5 Patch 1 but I wanted to know if this should be applied on the DR site first and then production or the other way around? Also, does the update require any system downtime? When updating, will the update be automatic or will I have to manually do anything to the ZVM/VRAs?
Hi there, I’m Matt, with Zerto Support.
Below I have linked our documentation on upgrade best practices for Zerto 7.5. To provide a brief answer to your questions,
-Either DR or Production can be upgraded first, so long as there is never more than one major release difference between them (7.0 -> 7.5 or 7.5 -> 7.0 are fine, 6.5 -> 7.5 is not)
-There is some slight downtime with the Zerto GUI during an upgrade, and no new checkpoints are written to the journal during the short time, but protection itself is not disrupted. See page 6 of the below document for more information.
-The upgrade is done through an install wizard. The executables for these wizards are available at https://www.zerto.com/myzerto/support/downloads/
