  • encountered issue when deploying VRA on w2012 hyper-v host error is  “cant install VRA because host has status in SCVMM””

     

    SCVMM is windows 2012 also

     

    Please advise next steps

    I would kindly ask you:
    Please perform the next steps:
    1) Check if secure boot enabled. Unable to install the driver, is common when the Host has Secure Boot enabled. If you disable Secure Boot, you should be able to install the VRA.

    Click simultaneously the shortcut Restart + Shift key.
    Click Troubleshoot → Advanced options → Start-up Settings → Restart.
    Click repeatedly the F10 key (BIOS setup), before the “Startup Menu” opens.
    Go to Boot Manager and disable the option Secure Boot.
    Save the changes and reboot.

    If UEFI Secure Boot is enabled, please disable it and re-attempt the VRA installation.
    The disabling of the UEFI Secure Boot is only for a few minutes to install the VRA, once it’s up and running you can enable UEFI Secure Boot again.

    In case you had a VRA installed on that Host and secure boot is disabled, Kindly follow that KB:
