Delete from Disk greyed Out
The forum ‘VMware’ is closed to new topics and replies.
We have a VM (several really) that was replicated using zerto to our vCenter (from a vCenter to our vCloud Director).
This particular VM did a test failover and then the protected site had Zerto removed ungracefully. So the test was never cleaned up properly and the VM was still registered at the recovery site
These VM are no longer needed but are left stranded. We are unable “delete from disk” or remove from inventory because both options are greyed out.
How do you manually unprotected a Zerto registered VM?
There is a vCenter database table that disables those options. Zerto support has a utility you can run that will re-enable those options and then allow you to delete them.
Where can I download that utility. Thanks
Just send a support request to Zerto and you will receive a downolad link.
Hi Daniel,
I’ve the same issue, and I believe that I have the right query to remove the lock.
My question is: is there any way to re-enable that options without reboot the vCenter Server? Being a SP you can imagine that it is a great pain.
Thank you
Raff
