Difficulty seeding VPG on high perf infra and L2

I’ve dealt with seeding VPG’s to remote sites before but am finding issues with high change rate VM’s replicating from on vCenter to the other in same data center. VRA’s on on the same L2 network. Temp disk is enabled for tempdb. VRA’s are configured for 2vCPU/12GRAM. This is All flash vmax/pmax storage on UCS with 20GB networking.   VM is a 7T SQL server

I could look at trying to snap or dupe a couple LUNs across VxBlocks as pre-seed but that is painful.

Anybody have similar issues?
