is it really necessary for the VM to be running when adding it to a VPG? There are scenarios where you have virtual machine turned off, but want to protect it with Zerto (e. g. root certification authority, VM’s that are baselines for templates etc.). And it seems to me like unnecessary requirement to start this machines up for the initial sync.
At least in my environment when I try to protect a turned off machine, the initial sync state is stalled at 0% until I start the VM up.
