Replicating Windows 2003 VMs to Azure

  • Hi,

does anybody now if it is possible (not necessary supported) to replicate VMWare VMs with Windows 2003 (32bit and 64bit) to Azure? As long as Windows 2003 is no longer supported generally the support Matrix from Zerto is difficult to interpret 😉
**** Zerto Virtual Replication supports replication of any virtual machine whose operating system is supported in both the protected site and recovery site. ****

I know that 2003 is somehow supported on azure. So, is it technicall possible with zerto?

    Thanks in advance

    Olaf

    Hi Olaf,

I can tell you that this functionality is not supported, but I am checking in with some people to see if it is possible.

    Stay tuned

hey guys any update about this? Azure supports creating new VMs from Windows 2008 R2 SP1 and I have some windows 2003 and Windows 2008 and R2 no SP1 which I am not sure if I can replicate and will failover or not
