Hello all.
This is Hyun in KOREA.
When I performed ‘Test Failover’ on Protected Site, there was an error occured on Recovery Site.
Because of the error, vCenter didn’t power on that VM.
Error message is below : <span style=”color: #000000;”>’ Cannot open the disk ‘/vmfs/volumes/53e8eef4-23bb8477-feb8-c81f66e86641/Z-VRA-10.32.4.170/895ad669-4ef5-469e-b8d7-0f90f6d00314/vm-1004/lchencdb01/lchencdb01_3.vmdk’ or one of the snapshot disks it depends on. ‘</span>
I think it looks like disk locking issue, but I don’t know why this situation was occured.
How do you think about this situation ?
(If you check attachment, you can see the vcenter event messages)
Thank you.
Is this a part of a cluster?
Yes. This is Active Node of MSCS on vSphere.
This issue was resolved by assistance of Zerto Support Team.
Thank you.
can some one provide detail of how this issue resolved? we have same issue with MSFCS.
Did you check the Best Practices for MSCS? Here is the link: http://s3.amazonaws.com/zertodownload_docs/Latest/Zerto%20Virtual%20Replication%20and%20MSCS%20Best%20Practices.pdf
If that doesn’t help, then suggest contacting Zerto Support.
