vcloud service providers

  • We are refreshing our underlying hardware. I think I read somewhere that best practice from VMware is to not mix allocation models inside clusters. We are looking at having a dedicated cluster for standby DRaaS only with Zerto and keeping it separate from the general vcloud client VMs.

What does Zerto recommend, and is there anyone reading this that is a service provider that would care to provide any input on how their cluster(s) are setup?

Also, what is a good way to determine how much resources these VRAs can handle? Any maximums in terms of storage, # of VPGs, # of VMs inside VPG, etc?

    Hi Nick,

Most of our operating limits can be found in our scale and benchmarking guide :

I’d be happy to have a conversation with you regarding your questions, feel free to reach out to me directly
