VMDK to RDM reverse protection

    Hi

    I saw a KB that RDM to VMDK replicate is possible but I’m not sure it’s ok in clustered enviornment while doing failover.

    Also, Is it possible that VMDK to RDM by reverse protecting in any clustered environment if I can replicate RDM to VMDK in cluster

    Are there any changes about disk configuration when trying failover?

    Yaron from Zerto.

    You can replicate from RDM to VMDK, however, you need to make sure the cluster is not using shared disks as it is not supported configuration by Zerto.

    In addition, the disks need to be configured as Thick Eager-Zeroed.
