Is it possible to install Zerto (ZVM) on Windows Server 2019 Essentials?

My name is Contara Zerto Support.

Base on Zerto 8.0 Operability Matrix, it doesn’t mention Windows Server 2019 Essentials. It’s only mentioned on Windows Server 2019.

Hello,

We are still waiting for internal to respond back but there was internal past posting about “Windows Essentials support”.

Answered: Regarding Windows essentials – seeing as these are add ons which do not modify the main framework on which Zerto works – it should not be an issue to install it on the ZVM VM.
