Zerto Virtual Manager is not connected to VRA

  • Zerto Virtual Manager is not connected to VRA with IP x.x.x.x on host xxxxxxx
Getting this error for multiple VRA’s

    Hi,

Do you see IP address when click on Summary tab of the VRA

Static ? or DHCP assigned to VRA?

    Any recent ESXi reboots?

You may have to evacuate the VRA by changing the VM’s recovery VRA, uninstall and reinstall the VRA

I had this issue on a customer’s site and migrated the VRA to another host (yep!) and could then ping it from the ZVM so I moved it back to the original host and it continued to pint. Later we found that the customer had not configured the host uplinks/port groups correctly on their switch.

Can you ping from the ZVM?
Try to connect to the VRA and see if you can ping the gateway, ZVM, other VRAs.
Try to connect to another VRA and see if you can ping the problematic VRA.
Check the required ports between the ZVM and the VRA are open.
